They meant well.. a little nosy, but meant well.

Question no. I : “Eh? Where’s Kenny?” I just smiled. Someone politely nudges the Auntie A’s elbow.
Question no. 2 : “It’s oklah. No need malu-malu. So, how’s Jie Yee taking it? You all OK?” I just smiled.
Question no. 3 : “How come ar? Both of you looked Ok what?” I just smiled.
Question no. 4 : “Long time already is it?” I continued smiling.
Question no. 5 : “Never mind one, you still young and pretty, look for another!” I just smiled.
Question no. 6 : “You know Ah Tatt... who & who’s son... he’s also separated, wife no good... you don’t know ar, dat one lar (points to her right)” I just smiled.
Question no. 7 : “I know you are independent, but it’s good to have a husband to look after you, right? Agree?” I just smiled.
Question no. 8 : “You and Ah Tat always play together when you were kids, remember or not?” I just smiled.
Question no. 9 : “Ah Tat is a good man, but too bad married the wrong woman.. thank goodness no kids yet. He should go out and meet people. Always sit at home how to meet women, right?” I just smiled.
Question no. 10 : “Later I’ll get him to come over to our table. No need shy-shy.. listen to auntie, it’s always good to have a man around the house. Oh, remember Ah Keong, he ar,, aiyoh, so hard to find girlfriend. Got house, nice car, good job, don’t know what’s his problem?” I just smiled.
Question no. 11 : “Are you not thinking of marrying again?” I just smiled.
Question no. 12 : “A woman out in the world alone.. I know it’s hard. That’s why you need to meet a good man, must have money, then get married. Right?” I just smiled and then I said, “I’m not looking for a man to get married to. I’m hoping to meet a man that can be a good companion.” They looked at me blurred.

The ikan keli goreng was good.

What a day! :)

25th September 2009

Yesterday I finally got to send the digital camera for repair. But guess what? I got lost looking for that place, all thanks to the marvelous signboard - DATARAN PRIMA with a big arrow pointing to the left at a junction. Followed the direction and ended up at a dead end – “huh????” And by this time the car temperature had risen a little.

20 minutes later, I finally found the RIGHT way by turning into a junction WITHOUT any signboard. Found the place, parked the car, walked up 2 flights of stairs from the carpark (lift was out of service) and found the office. And then, the receptionist said “Sori cik, service department dah pindahla....” Arrgghhhhh!!!! I almost fainted and it was a hot day too. She gave me the NEW address and the direction and wished me “Selamat Hari Raya” huh??? I could hardly smile.

Paid the parking, walked down 2 flights of stairs, sweating like an oink-oink. With the detailed direction from the receptionist, I finally found the place, but, I wasn’t sure... “errrr.... why look like ghost house one??? Thank goodness the interior didn’t match the entrance.

Errand done, hungry and thirsty. Oldtown Kopitiam was just downstairs and I sat down to have a glass of kopi ais and 2 slices of roti bakar (Took photo and MMS to GG and Pekin... don’t ask, I don’t know why). Chilled for half an hour and time to brave the hot sun with Jeremy (that’s my car’s name) to get back to the office. Jeremy was dehydrating by the time we reached. By the time I got home, Jeremy was coughing and hardly can run another mile. Sent him to the workshop, had an organ transplant and hoped that he’ll live longer.

So, by the time all the hassles were settled it was 9pm and I was tired like nobody's business. What a day. Hehehehe! I still smiled all the way home.

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI

SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI...MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN

We are still in Raya Mode. And some of US are still in their hometown.... Good!

3 days before Raya.. we went out for Coffee and Sahur in Bangsar... We talked as usual, taking photo's like normal, and the best part we said BYE2 to each other.... thought that it will be our last nite hanging out before the Raya break... but turns out, we repeat the routine the next day as well.. at The Apartment. We had dinner, and coffee till the place shoo us to go back... And that's it.
We are from all over the place... Bentong, Seremban, Kelantan, Kedah, Perak, KL and Sabah... And thats how we end the night blissfully.

It's true... " Absence Makes The Heart Grows Fonder " I personally missed everyone when they weren't around... Sending and Receiving MMS is something that "I 'don't think its a necessary things to do" But...OMG! I did that...and they did that as well... *WINK*

I believe even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends...

We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but rather of recognizing and appreciating what we do have. People out there... I appreciate whatever that I have right now! And you know WHO you are! Thank You Very Much.. Wishing Everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Maaf Zahir Dan Batin.

I was reading some quotes and found myself analyzing them, laughing along the way. Just my personal opinions. Nobody should get offended.

Dear GG,

This is gonna sound a little strange but I'd like you to paint over my old closet door. The thing is there is never a time when you will be more honest, and your convictions will be stronger, and your motives will be more pure than they are right now. Which means you should chase whatever excites you. Be confident, and take risks, and paint over my words so you can start writing your own. My story may have inspired you, but I'm certain your story will inspire the person whom really close to you. I want you to know you don't need somebody to write about you in order for your life to mean something. You can write about yourself... make your own destiny. Then years from now the person will keep what you write on that door long enough to remind you how inspired your life is. And you can tell that person to paint over the door because you realize the words you wrote, the FRIENDS you had, the urgency you felt will always be there under the paint. The love you professed will always be there, the spark of something undeniable, a seed of hope, the truth for better or for worse burning fiercely just below the surface.

Everything Happens for A Reason

Everything happens for a reason. It’s God’s will and I thank God for the “everything”, be it good or vice versa.

2009 has been challenging, been through hell and back again... countless times. There were times that I wasn’t sure I can get back up, wanted to just F*** it!! Mentally, physically exhausted. Work, family, friends, love life... heavy piece of rock solidly embedded right at the centre and you do not know how to manage it… break it? Lift it? Sculpt it? Whatever it is, can't leave it there – that was how it felt like. But, I am thankful that I have the talent of seeking the ray of light, however thin it may be... held on to it, followed it and it led me to something wonderful, unexpected. I see hope. Thank you.
